The MezzBarriers Delta Low Headroom Safety Pallet Gate (Safety Yellow) is a heavy-duty mezzanine loading gate engineered for environments where conventional up-and-over pallet gates cannot be used due to restricted overhead clearance. Specifically designed for low headroom applications while still accommodating high pallet loads up to 2000mm, the Delta gate provides safe, efficient loading without compromising operator safety.
Its innovative dual-gate pivoting mechanism ensures the mezzanine edge remains protected throughout every loading and unloading operation. As one gate opens towards the loading side, the opposite gate automatically closes the operator side, preventing access to exposed edges and helping sites comply with modern workplace safety requirements.
Manufactured from Safety Yellow thermoplastic-coated tubular steel with galvanised steel components, the Delta gate offers outstanding durability, excellent corrosion resistance and enhanced workplace visibility. Unlike many traditional pallet gates that require significant space above the loading area, the Delta model provides clearance for pallet loads up to 2000mm high while maintaining an overall system height of just 2350mm.
This makes it an ideal choice where maximising available headroom is essential without compromising safe loading procedures.
Continuous Fall Protection
The Delta gate operates using a balanced pivoting mechanism that maintains a physical barrier at the exposed edge throughout loading operations.
When the loading-side gate is opened to receive a pallet, the operator-side gate automatically closes, preventing personnel from accessing the open edge. Once the pallet has been landed safely, the gate reverses operation, allowing the load to be retrieved while keeping the loading edge fully protected.
This fail-safe operating principle significantly reduces the risk of falls and helps maintain compliance with current mezzanine safety standards.
